This procedure describes how the College will distribute a Substance Abuse Prevention statement annually. The College is obligated to inform students and staff of the health risks associated with use of various illicit drugs and abuse of alcohol.
Lane is responsible for distributing a Substance Abuse Prevention statement annually to both students and staff under the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Amendments of 1989.
The Student Statement will be published in the college catalogue and each class schedule. The master electronic copy will reside in Institutional Research, Assessment and Planning. The office of Substance Abuse Prevention will be responsible for updating that copy.
The Staff Statement will be published and distributed by the Substance Abuse Prevention office. The original electronic copy will reside in the Substance Abuse Prevention office.
