This policy presents guidelines on the use of wireless communication at Lane Community College. This policy covers all devices that connect wirelessly to Lane Community College networks (e. g. personal computers, cellular phones, tablets, etc.)
Lane provides wireless internet access for students and employees of Lane Community College.
Access points not managed by Infrastructure Services are not permitted without specific approval from IT. Personal access points are permitted, provided they do not directly connect to the Lane network, and do not represent themselves as part of Lane's infrastructure.
Enforcement: Any employee found to have violated this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
