Purpose:
This procedure describes guidelines for using a student's "L" number when posting grades publicly on a physical wall or surface, or when using Moodle.
Narrative:
Student identification "L" numbers listed in alphabetical order by the student's last name can easily be traced to student identity by referencing the alpha name list; therefore, grades may not be posted by the student identification number.
Instructors may use the last four digits of a student's identification number when posting grades as long as the list is no longer in alphabetical order.
