Q: Why wasn't my ICO processed?
A: Any of the following reasons:

  1. The account number provided is a Budget FOAP rather than a Line Item account number.
  2. The account number provided didn't have sufficient budget authority
  3. The account number provided didn't have ANY budget authority
  4. The account number provided doesn't exist.
  5. The account number provided isn't legible.
  6. You didn't provide ANY account number.
  7. Backup submitted is insufficient or non-existent.
  8. No dollar amount was provided. (And yes this really happens)
  9. You didn't send us the white copy.

Q: I have a charge listed on my Budget Query that, in spite of my best efforts, I can't identify. How do I better identify it?
A: If it is a grant, call your grant accountant. If it is not, call Alan Feldmayer.

Q: My budget query shows that I've run out of budget in an account because of the large amount of encumbrances.  This doesn't seem right because I shouldn't have any more open purchase orders out there.  What do I do?
A: Contact the accounts payable team.
