I interviewed for a teaching job in 1980, and was urged to get my music endorsement added to my K-8 Teaching Certificate. "All you need is 7 hours!" So, since my 2 kids were in Middle School, I decided to attend LCC....and take 18 hours, as long as I was going!

I looked forward to every day... to hop on LTD, and travel to the campus to rub elbows with vibrant young people and community folks who were taking advantage of this GREAT community college! I got my 18 hours, and a music teaching job in 4J the next school year! I'm so thankful LCC was there for me!
