I was taking some classes, and checking fire extinguishers from 1990 to 2014, all locations, to comply with fire codes. I started with doing annual maintenance of all portable fire extinguishers and automatic kitchen suppression systems about the last five years and also doing monthly inspections. I walked the main campus going to each location with a fire extinguisher and checked various aspects of the unit. After 16 years into semi-retirement, the walking was taking longer and longer, and it came time to pass on the inspections to other capable people.
